Light-based skin rejuvenation, tailored to you.
BBL, or BroadBand Light, is an advanced light-based treatment designed to improve a wide range of skin concerns.Using carefully controlled pulses of light energy, BBL gently heats targeted areas within the skin, stimulating the skin’s natural regenerative processes while addressing unwanted pigment, redness and other visible concerns.
Treatments can be completely customised depending on your skin, the area being treated and the results you would like to achieve.
With BBL we can treat:~ Freckles and age spots
~ Sun damage and pigmentation
~ Redness and rosacea
~ Small facial vessels
~ Acne
~ Uneven skin tone
~ Signs of ageing
~ Loss of firmness and skin laxity
~ Unwanted hairHow does BBL work?
BBL uses targeted wavelengths of light to address specific concerns within the skin.
The light energy is absorbed by the targeted areas, gently heating the skin and encouraging its natural renewal response. Depending on the treatment selected, BBL can target unwanted pigmentation, visible vessels and redness, acne, unwanted hair or the appearance of lax skin.
Your treatment will be individually tailored following consultation to ensure the settings and treatment plan are appropriate for your skin and your concerns.
What happens during a BBL treatment?
Your eyes will be protected throughout the procedure with appropriate safety eyewear.
As the BBL handpiece passes across the treatment area, you may feel a brief warm sensation or a feeling similar to a light elastic-band snap.
Treatments can be very quick, with smaller areas taking as little as around 15 minutes. Treatment time will depend on the area being treated and your individual treatment plan.
Is BBL uncomfortable?
BBL is a non-invasive treatment and is generally very well tolerated.
Advanced cooling technology helps to keep the skin comfortable throughout treatment, although individual sensitivity will vary.
What should I expect after BBL?
You may experience some mild redness immediately following treatment, which usually settles within a few hours.
When treating pigmentation, areas may temporarily appear darker before gradually fading or flaking away as the skin renews.
Your individual response will depend on the concern being treated, your skin type and the intensity of your treatment.
Is there any downtime?
BBL typically involves little to no downtime, and most people can return to their normal daily activities following treatment.
You will be given personalised aftercare advice depending on the treatment you have received.
How many BBL treatments will I need?
This will vary depending on your skin, the concern being treated and the results you would like to achieve.
Following your consultation, we will create a personalised treatment plan and discuss whether a course of treatments or ongoing maintenance would be most suitable for you.

Lighten, brighten and refresh your skin with MOXI.
MOXI is a gentle, non-ablative fractional laser treatment created to revitalise the skin, improve uneven pigmentation and enhance overall tone and texture.
Ideal if you’re beginning to notice the early signs of sun damage or ageing – or simply want to maintain healthy-looking skin – MOXI offers an effective way to refresh the complexion without the downtime associated with more intensive resurfacing treatments.
It can be used on all skin types and throughout the year, making it an incredibly versatile addition to your skincare routine.
MOXI can help improve:
~ Uneven pigmentation
~ Sun damage
~ Uneven skin tone
~ Rough or uneven texture
~ Early signs of ageing
~ Dull or lacklustre skin
~ Overall skin quality and radianceHow does MOXI work?
MOXI delivers fractionated, non-ablative laser energy into the skin, creating tiny micro-treatment zones.
This triggers the skin’s natural healing and renewal response, replacing damaged cells and encouraging the production of fresh, healthy-looking skin.
Over time, this helps to improve tone, texture and pigmentation while leaving the surface of the skin intact.
What happens during a MOXI treatment?
Your skin will be prepared for treatment and, depending on the intensity selected, topical numbing cream may be recommended beforehand.
During treatment, the MOXI handpiece is passed evenly across the skin while delivering fractional laser energy.
Cooling air may also be used throughout the procedure to help keep you comfortable.
Is MOXI uncomfortable?
MOXI has been designed as a gentle laser treatment and is generally well tolerated.
You may experience warmth or a prickling sensation during treatment. Your treatment settings can be tailored to your individual skin and comfort level.
What should I expect after MOXI?
Immediately after treatment, the skin may appear red and feel warm.
Over the following few days you may notice tiny darkened dots across the treatment area, known as MENDS. These are part of the skin’s normal renewal process and can leave the skin feeling slightly rough before naturally shedding to reveal fresher-looking skin beneath.
This commonly occurs within approximately 3–5 days.
What is the downtime?
MOXI is designed to offer skin renewal with minimal downtime.
Make-up can usually be worn after 24 hours, although you should always follow the specific aftercare advice provided following your treatment.
Daily SPF and careful sun protection are particularly important while the skin is recovering.
How many MOXI treatments will I need?
Your treatment plan will depend on your skin and your goals.
A course of treatments may be recommended for more corrective results, followed by occasional maintenance treatments throughout the year to help maintain skin quality.

Two advanced technologies. One complete skin rejuvenation treatment.
For the ultimate skin refresh, MOXI and BBL can be combined in the same treatment plan.
While BBL uses targeted light energy to address concerns such as unwanted pigmentation, redness, visible vessels and sun damage, MOXI uses fractional laser energy to improve skin tone, texture and overall quality.
By combining the two technologies, we can treat different concerns and layers of the skin within one carefully tailored treatment approach.
Think clearer, brighter, smoother and more evenly toned skin – with little disruption to your everyday routine.
Combining MOXI + BBL can help target:
~ Sun damage and pigmentation
~ Uneven tone
~ Uneven texture
~ Redness and visible vessels
~ Dull skin
~ Early signs of ageing
~ Overall skin quality and radianceWhy combine MOXI and BBL?
The technologies work in different ways, which makes them an ideal pairing.
BBL uses light energy to target specific colours within the skin, including unwanted brown pigmentation and redness.
MOXI creates controlled micro-treatment zones within the skin to encourage cellular renewal and improve overall tone and texture.
Together, they allow us to create a more comprehensive treatment for patients looking to address multiple skin concerns at once.
What is the downtime following MOXI + BBL?
Downtime is generally minimal, although you may experience redness, warmth and the temporary darkening of pigmentation following treatment.
As with MOXI alone, the skin may develop a slightly rough texture as it renews over the following few days.
Make-up can usually be applied after 24 hours and you will be given full aftercare instructions following your appointment.
How many treatments will I need?
There is no one-size-fits-all approach.
The number and combination of treatments recommended will depend on your starting point, individual skin concerns and the results you would like to achieve.
During your consultation, we will assess your skin and create a personalised treatment plan specifically for you.
